Rise places Liverpool Hope above Manchester Metropolitan, Edge Hill, Liverpool John Moores, Chester, Central Lancashire, Salford, Cumbria and Bolton
Liverpool Hope University has achieved the biggest rise in the North West and the second-highest rise nationally in the 2018 Complete University Guide.
Hope has climbed 25 places, making it 58th in the UK (out of 129) and 4th in the North West (out of 12).
The rise places Liverpool Hope above Manchester Metropolitan, Edge Hill, Liverpool John Moores, Chester, Central Lancashire, Salford, Cumbria and Bolton.
It is also top two in the UK for Student Satisfaction, and top three in the North West for its Graduate Prospects outcome according to this year’s tables.
The Complete University Guide rankings are based on ten measures: Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Entry Standards, Student: Staff Ratio; Spending on Academic Services; Spending on Student Facilities; Good Honours Degrees; Graduate Prospects and Completion.
It includes 129 institutions across the UK.
