Over 100 sq ft has been taken at the Baird House Business Centre by web designer, David Twiggs Consulting and a further 104 sq ft by Araya Facilities Services.

Araya Facilities Services carries out work on behalf of insurance companies and loss adjusters, estate agents and property management companies maintaining and restoring domestic and commercial rental properties.

Specialists in marketing new technologies, services and ideas in  telecoms and eCommerce, Commendium Ltd has also taken 239 sq ft at the centre after setting out with the intention to establish a business base in the North West.

Commendium’s CEO, Richard Walters, said:

“We were very impressed with the growing community of like-minded businesses at the park, which we know will be an asset to Commendium going forward as we continue to develop.“

Delyth Lloyd, innovation manager at Liverpool Innovation Park, said:

“We are very pleased to welcome three new occupiers to the park.

“There is a definite trend in the market towards companies taking smaller office spaces in business and creative hubs where they can grow alongside other similar companies before expanding.

“A number of city centre and out of town developments are fulfilling this requirement at the moment, however at LIP, we have the flexibility and the space to be able to accommodate businesses as they grow so when they need bigger offices, they don’t need to relocate to other schemes.”
