Liverpool law firm takes extra 4,200 sq ft for expansion

No-win, no-fee law firm Bond Turner takes extra 4,200 sq ft of office space at its Liverpool base as part of expansion plan. Tony McDonough reports

Law firm Bond Turner is expanding its office space in Liverpool city centre by an extra 4,200 sq ft – taking total space occupied to 9.300 sq ft.

Bond Turner is a no-win, no-fee law firm, Launched in 2006, it is part of the Anexo Group and offers a team of in-house solicitors, barristers, and accountants. It handles claims in multiple areas of the law including personal injury, commercial and clinical negligence.

Based at No 1 Old Hall Street, the firm has signed a 10-year lease with landlord Downing for the 4,200 sq ft suite on the upper ground floor. It adds to its existing 5,100 suite in the building.

Dawn O’Brien, director at Bond Turner, said: “Having been based at No1 Old Hall Street since 2020, it has facilitated Bond Turner to progress through the next stage of our growth plan

“It has helped us to attract a team of exceptional litigators and increase capacity to deliver fantastic results for our clients.

“The way in which we work, like so many businesses, has changed a lot since we first moved to No 1 Old Hall Street, however, the important role of the office is still clear to our team.

Downing has spent £6m in a refurbishment of the building. Previous phases have seen an insulated roof replacement, a power supply upgrade, the completion of a new building entrance and reception area, breakout areas and meeting spaces.

At the end of 2022 it completed the installation of acoustically efficient, feature facades and windows across all elevations of the 67,000 sq ft  building.

Bond Turner joins other recent new arrivals including Rasul & Howell, Dendara , Kenyon McAteer Solicitors, and Gibbons Law.

A newly-refurbished 10,000 sq ft office space is now available on its fifth floor, with a further 7,000 sq ft set to be delivered later this year on the 5th floor.
