Liverpool solicitors firm Angelus Law is to open a second base and create 100 new jobs. Tony McDonough reports
A Liverpool law firm is to open an office in Manchester and will grow its workforce by 100 people within 12 months.
Angelus Law currently employs 75 people at its headquarters at No 1 Tithebarn in Liverpool’s commercial district. In April it will open a 4,500 sq ft office in Manchester City centre. Angelus also intends to grow its workforce in Liverpool.
Currently providing services for housing disrepair, historical abuse, financial mis-selling, bank fraud, mis-sold business energy claims and Mercedes emissions claims, Angelus will also be expanding to offer further areas of law.
These will include ‘high end’ personal injury, recovery of care home fees, wills. power of attorney, probate and data breach.
Two years ago LBN reported how the firm had secured a £27,500 settlement for a homeowner whose property was blighted by Japanese knotweed.
Tom Hardwick of Angelus Law said: “The team is delighted to be expanding into our neighbouring city of Manchester, where we can continue to grow our workforce as well as develop additional areas of law within Angelus.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time and we’ve been working hard behind the scenes on this expansion to ensure that we’re fully prepared for our second quarter opening.
“The recruitment of a talented team of employees has been integral, as well as carefully selecting our office space which is in the heart of the city centre. It will be a fantastic home for Angelus Law’s Manchester office.”
