Liverpool law firm Weightmans is to accelerate its digital transformation with the help of global creative experience agency, Aurora.

Weightmans, which is based in Liverpool’s commercial district and employs more than 1,300 people in eight offices across the UK, is tasking Aurora with the job of “managing, evolving and amplifying” the practice’s digital platforms.

Aurora will kick off their digital support with an intense multiple website migration project which will move all Weightmans websites to a new platform, ensuring the websites are “future ready”.

Alongside this initial project Aurora will also work to re-develop Weightmans HR Rely website, a toolkit for HR professionals. The project will modernise the website with new design, architecture and functionality, while also enabling mobile and speed optimisation. A roadmap of further digital development will follow.

Chris Stewart, digital manager at Weightmans, said: “We offer expertise to individuals and businesses across the UK from a variety of sectors, so we need to ensure our website and digital channels are consistently fit for purpose and echo the service we provide for our clients.

“Aurora clearly understands our strategy and our future aspirations. Their digital capability, combined with an exceptional level of project management and care for us as a client, is outstanding.”

Based in Liverpool, with an office in Toronto, Canada, Aurora is led by two award-winning female founders – Valerie Bounds and Dawn Paine. It has been created to reflect the convergence of creativity and technology and future-proof businesses with “holistic thinking, strategy and activation”.

Valerie added: “With both businesses having their roots in Liverpool, despite having national and global offices, there was a real synergy between us. We look forward to showcasing our work in the months to come.”
