Liverpool-based mechanical and electrical services provider Premier Project Services has secured a contract with major developer Kier on a £4m housing project.

The firm, which was established in 2017, will be managing the mechanical and electrical design and installation of Oldham Council’s Supported Housing for Adults with a Learning Disability (SHALD) project, the Limecroft Resource and Care Centre.

It comprises 20 self-contained apartments, specifically designed for adults with learning disabilities, enabling people to have the opportunity to live as independently as possible.

Premier has worked with Kier to deliver a number of complex mechanical and electrical elements, including heating and ventilation systems, security systems, domestic services and much more.

Josh Meadows, director at Premier, said: “This is a significant win for Premier Project Services, which is still considered to be a relatively new company. Working with Kier to deliver the mechanical and electrical elements of this project will bolster our CV and demonstrate the capability of our firm.

“We pride ourselves on being dynamic and agile, which gives us a competitive edge when compared to larger firms. We have the ability to provide a bespoke service to Kier, which every member of the team will concentrate all of their time and energy into.”
