Restaurants and retailers at Liverpool ONE are looking to fill hundreds of vacancies they gear up for the busy run up to Christmas with John Lewis alone looking to fill 100 roles. Tony McDonough reports
Businesses based at the £1bn Liverpool ONE retail and leisure complex are looking to fill hundreds of fester vacancies.
October to December is known as the ‘golden quarter’ for retailers, bars and restaurants. There is a huge surge in business in the run up to Christmas and many have to take on staff for the festive period to meet the demand.
Among the brands seeking seasonal staff this year are John Lewis & Partners which has a 100 vacancies up for grabs and JD Sports with more than 50 temporary jobs on offer. Other outlets looking for people include Zara, Pandora and Kenji.

Liverpool ONE is celebrating its 15th birthday this year. Earlier this week it published a new report showing the huge impact it has had on the city since 2008. It claims it has generated £4.1bn in economic activity during that 15 years.
