Property firm Berkley Shaw has appointed a new head of residential property management at its KM Real Estate division in Liverpool
Experienced residential sector professional Michelle Cliff is the new head of residential property management at KM Real Estate in Liverpool.
This is the latest move for Michelle in an 18-year career which began at Regenda Homes. She joins KM Real Estate, part of the Berkeley Shaw group, from block leasehold management specialist HLM Property Management.
Berkeley Shaw acquired KM Real Estate from Keppie Massie owner Ged Massie in April 2021. Keppie Massie is best known in Liverpool for its work in the commercial property sector. Berkeley Shaw has kept the two distinct brands in the group – Berkeley Shaw Estate Agents and KM Real Estate.
The firm will utilise Michelle’s experience in block management. It manages around 70 residential blocks in the Liverpool city region. This totals around 3,000 units under management.
Michelle will be based at Berkeley Shaw’s new 10,000 sq ft headquarters at Old Haymarket in Liverpool city centre. She said: “I am thrilled to begin my KM Real Estate journey at our fantastic new office in Liverpool.
“Property management is a challenge, and every day is different. But it is also the most rewarding of careers. Being able to make clients feel safe and happy in their forever homes whilst fulfilling our promises is the best feeling in the world.”
Berkley Shaw has a total of £1bn of property under management. Managing director John Baybut took over the firm from Mike Shaw in 2014. At that time it had just one estate agency in Crosby. Now it has opened further outlets in Formby and Southport as well as Liverpool city centre.
