New £100,000 ‘immersive quiz experience’ launches in Liverpool city centre creating a number of jobs. Tony McDonough reports
Operators of a new immersive quiz experience have chosen Liverpool as the first location in the UK to launch their new brand.
The £100,000 Quiztopia attraction is at the heart of the city’s business district on Dale Street, creating five new jobs. It’s the first venue of its kind to open in the city and can accommodate up to 40 people in four rooms.
Samir Patel from Quiztopia said: “We’re thrilled to bring Quiztopia to Liverpool, just in time for quizmas. There are four rooms fitted out with podiums, buzzers and lights giving a full-on game show experience, making it the ideal venue for corporate away days and team building.

“Quiztopia is a simple, easy to play concept which brings out the competitive edge as players battle to win the game. With a proper live game show set up, the pressure is on just like it would be in a TV studio.
“We’ve got every subject covered from sport and entertainment to history, geography and even video gaming.
“This makes it an ideal activity for families, friends and work colleagues to pit their wits against each other and see who’s got the knowledge.
The Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Cllr Barbara Murray will officially open Quiztopia on Monday, December 15. Bookings are from £18 per person.
