Liverpool Shopping Park’s lifestyle section is now fully let

Liverpool Shopping Park owner Derwent says the lifestyle section of the park is now full-let after it signed another 10-year deal with another national retailer.

Tile Mountain, which has outlets across the UK, has signed a lease on an 8,000 sq ft unit, next to B&Q. Earlier this month, national bed retailer Dreams confirmed it was taking a 10,021 sq ft unit at the junction of Edge Lane and Rathbone Road.

Liverpool Shopping Park opened in October 2017 and its high profile tenants including Next, M&S Food Hall, River Island, H&M, Chiquito, TK Maxx and Smyths Toys. It is owned by The Derwent Group, which is part of the Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation.

James Maule-Finch, senior asset manager for The Derwent Group, said: “It is fantastic to see retailers in this part of the market doing so well, particularly as the nation has turned its attentions to DIY during lockdown.

“We welcome Tile Mountain to Liverpool Shopping Park and expect them to benefit greatly from the footfall of its neighbour B&Q, as well as the unit’s prime frontage onto Edge Lane. They are a great addition to our line-up and fulfil our vision to dedicate this part of the park to homes and interiors.”

CSP and McMullen RE acted for the Derwent Group and Knight Frank acted for Tile Mountain.
