Livv on track to deliver £100m housing pipeline

Liverpool city region housing provider Livv says it is on track to deliver its three year plan, worth more than £100m, to deliver 1,000 new homes across the region. Tony McDonough reports

Livv Housing says it has more than 600 new homes under construction across Liverpool city region as part of its three-year pipeline worth more than £100m.

Knowsley-based Livv has set a target of 1,000 new affordable homes and is currently active on 20 sites. New homes under construction include 365 homes for affordable and social rent, 115 homes for rent to buy and 128 homes for shared ownership.

These developments are spread across multiple local authority areas including Knowsley, St Helens, Halton, Sefton, West Lancashire and Warrington.

Key projects include the £6.1m Berrywood regeneration scheme in Whiston, the £5.2m Parkside Place development in Warrington – Livv’s first in the area, and the £3.3m ‘road to zero carbon’ pilot scheme in Kirkby.

Livv is working with a range of delivery partners, from housebuilders to specialist small to SMEs, having secured funding from Barclays, Santander, Homes England and the Liverpool City Region Brownfield Land Fund.
