Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust (LCH) hosted its second free event for local businesses to learn about supplying goods and services to the NHS.
Organisations from across the North West attended the event which took place last Friday, 29th August at LCH Headquarters, Liverpool Innovation Park.
The event was opened by Peter Quayle, Associate Director of Finance, who promoted the importance of working with local businesses to ensure that the goods we buy and services we deliver are the best for our patients.
A wide range of local and regional businesses attended the day from medical equipment suppliers to mobile technology companies.
During the event local businesses were able to meet buyers from LCH, gain advice from local business support organisations and network with other local businesses over lunch.
Rob Collins, Deputy Director of Finance at Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust said:
“Our second Ask the Buyer event was a huge success, providing a fantastic opportunity to strengthen our relationship with wide range of businesses from across the North West Region. Through investing in the local economy we will help to sustain and create jobs, whilst also ensuring that the goods and services we provide are of the highest quality and best value for patients.”
