Mando celebrated 18 years in business last week, Thursday 10 September, with a feel-good party in Liverpool city centre.
Mando’s founder, Ian Finch welcomed over 150 clients, colleagues, partners and ex-staff to ‘Oh Me Oh My’ in West Africa House for drinks, dancing and a celebration of the 1990’s – the decade that Mando was formed.
2015 has been an incredible year for Mando following a restructure and an end-to-end systems overhaul in 2014, with month-on-month growth and the business meeting or exceeding its aggressive targets.
Mando was co-founded in 1997 by Ian Finch while still at Liverpool John Moore’s University.
Originally called WebShed, the last 18 years has seen the business grow and evolve, delivering thousands of web sites, portals and applications for leading local, national and global brands like Rolls Royce, Bentley, United Utilities, TalkTalk and Shop Direct Group.
Mando was shortlisted for Agency of the Year at the Prolific North Awards earlier this year, and has recently been shortlisted in the Digital Entrepreneur Awards and North West Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
Ian Finch, managing director at Mando said:
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating 18 years of Mando and last night was a fitting ‘family’ celebration. It was amazing to see so many faces, old and new who have all been a part of our journey having a great night together.”
“Today though, it’s all about what’s next. I’m incredibly excited about our team our proposition and the opportunities that are opening up for us in the years ahead. A new chapter commences!”
