Mersey neurodevelopment family support organisation wins new funding

A Merseyside Community Interest Company (CIC) has been awarded a National Lottery grant to support families living with neurodevelopment conditions including autistic spectrum disorder/condition, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, specific learning difficulties, SEN and disability.

ADDvanced Solutions Community Network has been awarded grant funding to continue delivering multiple initiatives in Belle Vale and Huyton as well as developing a new project in Wirral.

The funding will support its community network groups which offer open access support to help families living with a range of neurodevelopmental conditions to learn, understand and meet the needs of their children and wider family.

Vanda Reeves, director at ADDvanced Solutions, said: “Families find this local support invaluable, the fact that the National Lottery is funding these groups is work is fantastic news for us and for the families we work with.

Each week we have discussions and workshops covering subjects and issues that are important to these families. We work in partnership with professionals from organisations and experts in their field to provide effective solution-focused support.”

ADDvanced Solutions Community Network has been delivering targeted support throughout Liverpool for six years. It also delivers community network groups in St Helens and Warrington.

The groups will take place weekly during term time with some family activities during the holidays.
