Liverpool social enterprise The Women’s Organisation will hit the road in September to provide free leadership skills courses for women across the city region.
At locations in Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton, Knowsley, Halton and St Helens, it will deliver its Women In Leadership Skills Level 2 accredited training. This is a day-long course designed to equip aspiring female leaders with powerful knowledge and skills.
During the workshop, participants will explore the unique challenges faced by women in leadership positions and develop strategies to overcome them. It will look at effective communication and leadership styles and building confident decision-making abilities.
Research from PwC and PfC shows that women currently occupy 31% of leadership roles. While this is an improvement on 2022’s stat of 29%, there is still a long way to go.
This roadshow is taking steps to move that forward, focusing on actionable insights so that women in business can gain the practical skills and knowledge necessary for effective leadership.
