A newly-launched Wirral digital business that sells “quality watches” at affordable prices has successfully raised £25,000 in a crowdfunding campaign.

CIRCULR founder Danny Clutterbuck says he is on a mission to disrupt the watch industry, offering quality watches without unnecessary add-ons.

This, he says, make the watches so affordable people can afford to have a new one every month and build a bespoke watch collection.

To give the fledgling business a boost Danny launched a £25,000 crowdfunding campaign via Kickstarter a few weeks ago and it has already surpassed its target.

Said the entrepreneur: “We’re delighted to have smashed our £25,000 target and secured backing.

“Kickstarter provided a great platform on which to market and launch the CIRCULR brand and collection.

“Now the fun starts as we ship 750 watches out to our first customers.”

CIRCULR is on a mission to disrupt the watch industry

Danny was co-founder of successful digital marketing firm Webtise but announced his departure in October. Days later, he unveiled CIRCULR.

CIRCULR plans to launch new watch styles every two to three months in order to reflect the trends on the high street.

Danny added: “We’re now focused on getting CIRCULR out there and disrupting the fashion watch sector.

“CIRCULR brings quality, fashion forward, minimalist watches that ordinarily with a wholesaler or middleman would cost the customer in excess of £200, instead we offer them directly for under £50.

“With new designs already in the pipeline we’re very excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for CIRCULR and would like to thank everyone who backed us.”
