Merseyside estate agents agree new partnership

Two Merseyside estate agents – Almond Property by Sue Taylor and Colette Gunter – agree deal to expand into lettings market. Tony McDonough reports

Almond Property by Sue Taylor and Colette Gunter will combine their resources

Two estate agents – one in Liverpool and one in Formby – have stuck a deal to offer a combined lettings service.

Almond Property by Sue Taylor is based in Liverpool city centre while Colette Gunter‘s office is based in Elbow Lane in Formby. Both have a longstanding relationship on the sales front, specialising in the high end of the Formby market.

Now they are to extend that partnership into lettings. This will see Almond offering lettings advice based out of the Colette Gunter office. They will retain their independent statuses and respective offices.

Colette Gunter Estate Agents, headed up by Claire Walsh and Jane Jones was originally established in 1988. In August 2020 they were given the opportunity to take over the business.

Almond Property by Sue Taylor is a sales and property letting agent with more than 50 years of experience. This project will be headed up by Ian Taylor, Almond Property’s operations director.

Sue Taylor said “We have been operating in the Formby area for many years to existing clients, but this is a fantastic opportunity to make our services more visible and available to the general public.”

Jane and Claire added: “We have been wanting to venture into the lettings market for a while now and this partnership is the perfect fit for our clients, both existing and new.

“Our relationship with Almond Property has been successful for a number of years on the sales side and we are delighted to expand into the lettings market.”

The offering is going to be launched to clients in late April.
