Agents at LM6 secure two lettings at Miller’s Bridge close to the Port of Liverpool and the former Victorian mill buildings are now fully let. Tony McDonough reports
Refurbished former Victorian mill buildings close to the Port of Liverpool are now fully let following two new deals.
Agents at LM6, acting on behalf of Vantage Industrial and Suffolk Life Annuities, have secured two lettings at Miller’s Bridge. The development is located three miles north of Liverpool city centre.
Units 6 and 7 each comprising 5,475 sq ft have been taken by UK Easy Forwarding and Think Access Group. Easy Forwarding is a freight forwarder while Think Access specialises in providing rope access for construction projects.
These former Victorian mill buildings, a landmark in the local area, were comprehensively refurbished and let within weeks of the works completing.
Both units have been let at rents in excess of £6.50 per sq ft, resulting in a 100% increase in rental value. The estate is now fully let.

Anthony O’Keefe of sole agent LM6 said: “This estate demonstrates the benefits of an active asset management plan in upgrading existing industrial accommodation to reflect current operational requirements.
“While the investment market continues to re-adjust against a backdrop of the current cost of living crisis and fluctuating interest rates, occupational demand remains strong with secondary rents now on par with pre-COVID rental values.
