Miracle on Seel Street will return from mid-November

A Liverpool city centre bar will be transformed into a “winter wonderland” for the festive season for the second year running.

Tucked away above Salt Dog Slims, the bar normally known as 83 will become ‘Miracle on Seel Street’ from mid-November and through to New Year’s Eve. Owner independent restaurant-bar group GSG says it is being brought back by popular demand.

It will include a cosy fire with hanging Christmas stockings, comfy leather armchairs and decked out head-to-toe in fairy lights, multiple Christmas trees covered in tinsel, baubles and candy canes, and a flat screen TV showcasing everyone’s favourite festive films.

Bookings will be open from next week and guests can snap up tickets for mid November until New Year’s Eve at just £10 per person. Tickets secure guests a table for two hours, a complimentary drink of either homemade Irish cream or mulled wine, and a goody bag filled with festive treats.

Miracle on Seel Street will be open Monday – Thursday from 5pm until late, and Friday – Sunday from 12pm until late. Bookings must be made until early evening, however after that, it will be open for walk-ins and late night festivities.

John Ennis, director of GSG, said: “Miracle is coming back with a bang. It was so popular last year and so we’ve taken the decorations to the next level and it’ll be returning bigger and better than ever before.

“Who wouldn’t love spending the festive season in a Christmas-themed bar complete with over the top decorations and delicious Christmas cocktails whilst some of your favourite festive films are playing the background?”
