The fifth annual Morecrofts Ladies Evening took place at Liverpool’s Yacht Club last week (May 13) raising £3,700 for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
The event saw more than 100 Merseyside women gather to enjoy a summer barbeque, pampering treats as well as a cooking demo from Yacht Club chef Adam Franklin.
Morecrofts’ Managing Partner Alison Lobb said:
“Our annual ladies evening has always been a popular event. It’s a great opportunity for us to host a delightful evening for our clients, contacts and make some new friends too.
“This event was no exception. It was a fantastic night and we had a great turnout. Everybody was so generous and thanks to some match funding from Barclays the money raised is staggering.”
Exhibitors at the event included Blankstone Opticians, First 4 Hair, Ollin Hypnotherapy, Stella & Dot Jewellery, Clatterbridge Wedding Favours and Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar who also gave goodie bags to all the ladies who attended.
Rachel Donohoe, Fundraising Manager at Clatterbridge Cancer Charity said:
“We just love working with Morecrofts and are delighted with another great ladies evening. In the first year we have been their charity partner they have raised more than £17,000. Thank you to everyone involved in the latest event.”
Morecrofts have committed to a second year of fundraising for Clatterbridge before a new partner charity is chosen in April 2016.
Alison Lobb added:
“As Merseyside’s leading legal firm we really enjoy getting to know our clients and contacts and events like this are a great way to do that.
“Thank you to all the exhibitors, the Yacht Club for their usual great hospitality and of course all our guests who attended on the night.”
