Mother’s Day 2018 falls this coming Sunday. To help you out, LBN have pulled together some of our favourite foody spots to help you make your mum feel super special this March 11th.

Breakfast, brunch, lunch and of course, Sunday roasts-a-plenty, here’s our guide Mother’s Day dining guide.

Leasowe Castle

What better way to make mum feel special than to make her queen of the castle for the day?

Mum’s can dine in truly opulent surroundings as Wirral’s 16th century castle will be treating families to an exclusive set menu on March 11.

Starters include Thai-style fish cakes with sweet chilli sauce, goat’s cheese and sun-blushed tomato tartlet and chicken liver pate.

Mains include pan-fried honey and thyme-glazed chicken breast with potato fondant and wild mushroom cream, seared salmon fillet with asparagus, avocado, tomato salsa and hollandaise sauce or vegetable wellington with smoked aubergine puree and roasted vegetables.

And there’s an array of delicious desserts on offer including favourites like sticky toffee pudding, chocolate brownie and lemon tart.

Leasowe Castle’s Mother’s Day Set Menu is priced at £19.95 per person and is available all day on Sunday March 11.

The Vincent

For all those mums who enjoy the finer things in life, city centre-based restaurant, The Vincent, is offering up something special.

It’s a Sunday roast spectacular as The Vincent offers up the option of succulent beef, chicken or nut roast served with the classic Yorkshire pudding, golden roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

You and the family can enjoy Sunday lunch in the sumptuous surroundings at The Vincent for just £15 per person.

Delifonseca

How about a spot of brunch and bubbles with mum so she can start the day as she means to go on…

Breakfast diners at Delifonseca Dockside can expect a bucks fizz on arrival this Mother’s Day, or a non-alcoholic Berry Sweetheart cocktail with honey, cranberry and apple juice.

The team at Delifonseca have put together a breakfast grazing menu starting with toasted nutty maple granola layered with Greek yogurt, fresh fruit and berries.

Diners can then choose from classic dishes such as eggs Florentine with spinach and cheese sauce or Delifonseca’s signature deli-cooked English breakfast.

And to finish, warm, buttery croissants with raspberry and vanilla jam.

Delifonseca are also serving a special Mother’s Day lunch and Sunday roasts with all the trimmings throughout the afternoon.

Cosy Club

A firm favourite with our own mums, we can recommend Paradise Street-based Cosy Club, who are offering tasty sharing platters this Mother’s Day.

The starter platters include small plates such as salt and pepper squid, pulled chicken and chorizo, and everybody’s favourite pigs in blankets in a sticky cider, honey and mustard glaze.

There’s also a wide-ranging mains menu that offers homely favourites including roast chicken, slow-cooked pork belly and burgers.

Cosy Club’s special Mother’s Day two course menu is priced at £19.95 with the option to upgrade to three courses for just £3.95.

Silk Rd

Silk Rd is set to make Mother’s Day extra special with an exclusive set menu complete with a complimentary glass of fizz for every mum.

The newly opened eatery situated in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district will be laying out a Mother’s Day feast, boasting flavours that span from the Pacific to the Med.

Mums will receive a complimentary glass of bubbly as well as a voucher to the value of £10 for their next visit to the venue.

Silk Rd’s Mother’s Day menu comprises a meze to start, including its signature Silk Rd platter followed by a selection of five mains.

Dishes include old favourites such as roast beef with all the trimmings or dishes from along the Silk Rd trail such as rich and tasty Massaman curry or fresh and zingy Vietnamese snapper.

Silk Rd’s Mother’s Day menu is priced at £15 per person with the option to add dessert for an additional £3.50 and is available exclusively on Sunday March 11.
