MSB Solicitors will host a Ladies Spring Fayre this Thursday at their city centre office in Silkhouse Court to raise funds for the James Bulger Memorial Trust.
Businesswomen from the city region are invited to join the team at MSB to experience the wares of local producers. There are a range of businesses exhibiting, including fashion designers and vintage clothing providers, wine importers, chocolatiers, artisan coffee suppliers, and cosmetics and beauty ranges.
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of wine before being able to sample the stallholders’ delights and can order and purchase their favourite products. Entry is free, though MSB are asking those who attend to make a donation to help raise funds for the James Bulger Foundation.
The charity is one particularly close to the hearts of staff at MSB, as partner Sean Sexton has represented Denise Fergus and her family since the events of James’ death in 1993.
James’ mum Denise Fergus, along with her husband Stuart and charity patrons organise a number of events each year to raise monies to provide free holidays and respite to families who need it. Their overall objective is to support young people who are disadvantaged by having become a part of bereavement, a victim of hate crime, hatred or bullying.
Wendy Eves, family solicitor at MSB who has organised the event says:
“At MSB, we have pledged our support for the James Bulger Foundation and have already been working alongside Denise, Stuart and the charity’s ambassadors with a view to maximising their fundraising efforts this year.
“This event is something we were particularly keen to do, because as well as helping Denise, stuart and their team, it has also given us an opportunity to support many of the fantastic local businesses here in the Liverpool City Region. There are so many creative, talented and enterprising people in this city and to bring them together for an event such as this is really special.
“As well as that though, it also means we are able to invite ladies from other businesses into our fantastic, newly extended offices in the city centre. The space here is great and we want to use this event as an opportunity to connect, meet new people and show everyone what we’re all about.
“We’re all incredibly excited for what we’re sure is going to be a lovely event.”
The MSB Ladies Spring Fayre event is this Thursday, 30th April from 4.30-6.30pm. For more information or to book a place, please visit www.na-ss.com/MSB-Ladies-Spring-Fayre
