Liverpool solicitors firm MSB were official sponsors the 2016 CILEx Ball, an event that aims to celebrate and mark the achievements of CILEx members over the past twelve months.
Two members of MSBs team, Danielle Blaylock and John McCreanney, helped to organise the event, which was hosted at Liverpool’s Double Tree by Hilton hotel on Friday, 15th April.
More than 80 guests attended, representing the length and breadth of Liverpool’s business community, including Alison Lobb, managing partner at Morecrofts and president of the Liverpool Law Society.
Denise and Stuart Fergus of the James Bulger Memorial Trust also attended and more than £1,000 was raised for their charity through a dedicated raffle and auction.
Key speakers on the evening included David Flood of St John’s Buildings and CILEx President, Mr David Edwards.
MSBs John McCreanney, who helped organise this year’s event, said:
“The 2016 annual CILEx Ball was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and I was very happy to be involved. Both Danielle and I were incredibly pleased with the outcome – more than 80 attended – and we’ve had some fantastic feedback from those guests.
“I’d like to thank the team at Double Tree for working with us, it really was the ideal venue for this occasion. I’d also like to thank our esteemed guests and speakers for their contribution to what I’m sure was a memorable evening for all.”
