Organisers of the Merseyside Women of the Year Awards are holding a free webinar this week offering advice on how to submit a successful nomination
People looking to enter the 2024 Merseyside Women of the Year (MWOTY) Awards can access a free webinar offering advice this week.
Nominations for MWOTY are now open and people have until Tuesday, April 2, to submit nominations. On Thursday, March 7, at 12 noon organisers will host a free webinar providing advice on writing a successful nomination for the 2024 awards.
People considering making a nomination for themselves or a woman they know will be able to hear directly from the organisers what makes a great nomination.
Judges will reveal what they will be looking for in this year’s submissions, and past winners will share their experience of being a MWOTY finalist.
MWOTY founding director Ellie Kerr said: “We know that being faced with a nomination form can be quite daunting and it can be hard to know what to write, so we wanted to provide insight into our criteria and what our judges are looking for.
“We see so many nominations that have enormous potential, but don’t quite make the shortlist because they are missing some key information that the nominator might not have thought to include.”
Although the webinar is free to attend, registration is essential. To register, click here and to send an advance question for the panel, email nikki@mwoty.co.uk
The 2024 MWOTY awards will take place on Friday, June 28, at the Crowne Plaza in Liverpool city centre. Click here for nominations.
