Liverpool business membership and lobby organisation, accountancy giant and specialist property lender all unveil new hires in their Merseyside operations
A trio of new appointments have been announced in Merseyside’s professional sector with new hires at Downtown in Business, KPMG, and Bridging Finance Solutions (BFS).
Heather Heaton has joined Downtown, the Liverpool-based business membership and lobby organisation, as a marketing executive. She has worked for a number of membership- based organisations in the past, including the Wirral Chamber of Commerce.
In previous roles, Heather has proven her ability to create a digital community and increase engagement across membership organisations.
The Liverpool office of business advisory firm KPMG has strengthened its tax offering to the city’s business community with the appointment of Jane Grainger as a senior manager.
Jane specialises in corporate tax advisory and compliance engagements and brings over a decade’s experience to the firm’s growing tax practice at Prince’s Parade. Prior to joining KPMG, Jane spent four years in-house in tax and treasury manager positions for a major retailer and eight years at Deloitte.
And Calli Hanrahan, has joined the underwriting team at Wallasey-based BFS, in a move that supports the firm’s ongoing expansion plans.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the financial sector, Calli has previously worked with the Co-op bank with a career spanning personal banking, business banking, small business loans and large corporate lending and underwriting.
Prior to joining BFS, she also worked as operational manager for a large mortgage and insurance broker.
