Accountancy firm KPMG and property firm Colliers International have both unveiled new appointments.

KPMG’s Liverpool office, located in Princes Dock, has appointed corporate tax advisory and compliance specialist Jane Grainger as a senior manager.

Prior to joining KPMG, Ms Grainger spent four years in-house in tax and treasury manager positions for a major retailer and eight years at Deloitte, where she trained as an ACA and CTA qualified accountant and quickly progressed into a senior tax role.

She said: I’m looking forward to helping build on the exceptional tax offering we currently provide clients across the city, especially given the ever changing tax landscape and the opportunities and challenges this presents to local businesses.”

Colliers International has appointed Damian Gee as director and head of business space lease advisory for the North. Previously a Director at LSH in Manchester, Mr Gee has spent over 16 years providing advice on the full spectrum of business space lease advisory matters to clients including Royal Mail, Harworth Estates and ITV.

He will work across Colliers’ offices in Liverpool, Leeds and Sheffield to drive the department’s Northern growth strategy, offering specialist advice to a range of clients.

Mr Gee said: “I have worked in Manchester and across the North for over 16 years. It is this in-depth knowledge of the local market and specialist advice that will allow me to deliver excellent results for our clients.”
