Neston Cricket Club is partnering with law firm Aaron & Partners to launch a new Wirral business club.

In the last few days the Neston CC Business Club has held its first event, a breakfast networking session. Its aim is to hold quarterly, member-only sessions aimed at helping local business people network and foster new relationships.

Aaron & Partners, which has an office at Egerton House in Birkenhead, already has links to Caldy Rugby Club and Wirral Chamber of Commerce. It cemented its relationship with Neston CC with a special Cheltenham Gold Cup event in March at the club.

Paul Caslin, a senior associate solicitor at Aaron & Partners, said: “As someone who lives local to this area, I’m very excited to announce we’ll be heading up Neston CC’s brand-new Business Club.

“It’s a superb organisation at the heart of this community and the perfect location to help connect like-minded people from many different companies.

“This announcement also means we are further strengthening our ties to the borough – adding to our strategic partnership with the Wirral Chamber of Commerce and our sponsorship of Caldy Rugby Club’s Business Club.

“We believe this will create new opportunities for us and other companies around the area and we’re looking forward to getting started.”

This new relationship will also mean fresh support for the junior Neston All Sports Stars programme in addition to Aaron & Partners’ branding being positioned around the ground.

Dave Collyer, chair of Neston CC, added: “We’re delighted to play host to the North West’s newest business club.

“The Cheltenham Cup event was a huge success with lots of great people in attendance so that’s a strong platform to build on. We look forward to seeing what exciting business collaborations come from it.”
