Manchester-based JMW set up its Liverpool office in May last year after persuading the 14-strong family law team of rival practice DWF to jump ship
Law firm JMW is to take a bigger office in Liverpool less than a year after launching a base in the city.
Manchester-based JMW persuaded the 14-strong family law team of rival practice DWF to jump ship, bolstering its Manchester family law operation and leading to the launch of a Liverpool operation, headed by Beverley Jones, in May.
The team set up home at the Plaza in St Paul’s Square and now it is in the process of moving to a bigger space in the building.
As part of the expansion JMW has hired solicitor Hannah Hughes, is newly-qualified and joins from Oliver and Co in Chester. She has previously secured a first class law degree.
There has also been two promotions within the team. Solicitor Danelle Foley becomes an associate and another solicitor, Ruth Kearns, is made a senior associate.
