Domestic retrofit firm Next Energy donates almost £20,000 to a care home and two primary schools in Liverpool city region
Merseyside retrofit energy specialist Next Energy has made a triple charity donation totalling £20,000.
Prescot-based Next Energy, which installs energy efficient measures in homes for social landlords and local authorities, has given cash to a care home and two primary schools in Liverpool city region.
Next has given £5,000 to Roby Lodge Care Home to buy a tablet device used with dementia patients. This will provide access to games, YouTube and FaceTime calls.
Roby Park Primary School is the recipient of £6,500 for new PE kits.
There was a further donation of £8,000 to Malvern Primary School for their upcoming Malfest, a family festival which attracts over 5,000 visitors in July.
This includes rides and attractions for children, go-karting, trampolines as well as more than 50 summer stalls serving food and drinks. As part of the donation, Next Energy will sponsor the 2024 edition of Malfest.

Next Energy has grown its national ECO 4 capabilities alongside partners Octopus Energy, British Gas, Ovo Energy and E’on,. It is now delivering Local Authority Flex for a total of 46 councils across the UK.
Next Energy is offering its expertise free of charge to new and existing partners in the region looking to bid for SHDF Wave 3 funding.
