A collaboration betweenNorth West building firm Construction Partnership UK (CPUK) and regeneration company Muse Developments has been recognised with a prestigious accolade.
The two worked together to create a brand new £1.2m amenity building at Lingley Mere Business Park in Warrington, which was crowned Best Commercial Building at the Building Control Excellence Awards recently.
Warrington’s Building Control Manager Tony Gartside championed their “high level of workmanship and attention to detail” and the “outstanding quality” of the 7, 500 sq ft facility.
Steve Burke, Managing Director of West Lancashire-based CPUK, said:
“We are delighted that our work in delivering this stylish, well-designed building has been recognised.
“It was a pleasure to work on such a high-profile joint venture involving two major companies like Muse and United Utilities.
“As the local authority has recognised, we delivered a quality building which is now a fantastic amenity for Lingley Mere and the people who work there.”
Wes Erlam, Senior Development Surveyor at Muse Developments, added:
“The building has been designed to complement the natural surroundings of Lingley Mere and we are extremely pleased with the outcome.
“The building is now providing an excellent range of on–site amenities, including hot and cold food, a coffee shop, and meeting space with WiFi. The new facility is being enjoyed by existing occupiers and we hope it will also prove attractive to companies considering relocating to Lingley Mere.
“CPUK should be congratulated for the way in which it delivered the project and the high standard of its building work and attention to detail on site.”
Robin Uttley, Head of Commercial Property at United Utilities, concluded:
