Three Liverpool pupils from Notre Dame Catholic College in Everton attended a glittering awards ceremony recently after picking up a nomination in the inaugural national Celebrating Young People Awards at the House of Lords.
Hosted by national youth charity Million Minutes, Abbie Lee Rendell, Jaycel Foley and Hannah Wishart were all honoured for their work in the community.
Abbie Lee won the St. Josephine Bakhita Award whilst Jaycel and Hannah won the Cardinal Hume Award.
Danny Curtin, director of Million Minutes said:
“Young people all too often get a bad name. These awards give a voice to the young people that get overlooked.”
