Liverpool digital agency Mashbo has secured a deal with care and education charity Nugent Care.

The firm, supported by Wirral communications agency, Bread Media, won a multiple agency pitch during the procurement process to deliver Nugent Care’s new communication, brand and digital strategy.

The project has seen Nugent drop the Care aspect of its name in the rebranding process to focus on a wider range of service offerings which includes education and social impact, alongside the organisation’s care service.

This has been aligned with the launch of its new website under a new domain wearenugent.org

The collaborative project team engaged in co-creation sessions with Nugent’s service team – with representatives from its care homes, secure units and schools.

The project scope is to raise the charity’s position in the Liverpool city region and surrounding areas.

It brings a unified message to all of Nugent’s services and provides them with an accessible digital communication platform which will allow them to engage with different audiences.

Mashbo’s managing director, Gavin Sherratt, said: “The Nugent project was a challenging project for the team as we had a wide range of subjects and services to deal with.

“It’s more than just putting together a website. We’re working on a number of strategic elements and campaigns to help Nugent embrace their communications strategy and see economic growth.”
