Half term is under way and The Epstein Theatre has it covered with two fun filled family shows to keep your little ones entertained.
Starbright Entertainments are proud to present a brand new adaptation of The Railway Children which chugs into The Epstein from Tuesday, October 25th until Wednesday, October 26th. Nesbit’s much-loved tale is brought to life in this new adaptation by Woolford and John.
Roberta, Peter and Phyllis live in a comfortable house in London until their father is falsely accused of selling state secrets and is imprisoned for five years.
The family have to leave their home and move to a quiet little cottage next to a railway in Yorkshire. They quickly make friends with the Station Master, Mr Perks, and an old gentleman who waves every day from his carriage on the 9.15 to London. Could their unlikely friendship be the key to the release of their father?
On Saturday, 29th October, the internationally acclaimed Panto Company presents The Little Mermaid. The classic tale is brought to life in this brand new production which recently enjoyed a sell out performance in China. With stunning scenery, eye catching costumes, original songs plus up to date chart songs, not forgetting loads of audience participation, this show makes for a thoroughly entertaining family day out.
Epstein Theatre General Manager Rebekah Pichilingi commented:
“We love welcoming families during the school holidays and half term is no exception, we’re really looking forward to hosting two fantastic productions.”
