Allerton Manor Golf Club’s restaurant, The Old Stables, has undergone a makeover, welcomed a new kitchen team and launched a new menu.

The Old Stables serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is a favourite among the residents of South Liverpool. Located at the heart of Allerton Manor Golf Club the restaurant welcomes both members of the public and golfers alike.

The new menu features stand out dishes including a vegan beetroot burger, confit duck leg served with a Hoisin duck bon bon, Indian style chicken Kiev and a selection of gluten-free dishes.

The Old Stables also serves a afternoon tea complete with a selection of cakes, scones and sandwiches which are all hand-made on site each day by the restaurants team of pastry chefs.

Head chef of The Old Stables, Carl Stenson, said: “The new menu which focuses on local, seasonal ingredients coupled with the restaurant makeover is sure to keep The Old Stables firmly on the map as the destination restaurant of choice in South Liverpool.

“The menu has been designed to really raise the bar in terms of our food offering at Allerton Manor and I hope to see both new and returning customers dining with us over the coming months.”
