Orbit secures lettings at Academy Business Park

Commercial space provider Orbit Developments secures a number of new lettings at Academy Business Park in Knowsley

Rexel and LiverPrint have taken space at Academy Business Park

Orbit Developments has secured a number of new lettings at its Academy Business Park in Knowsley including one national trade supplier.

Rexel, a leading supplier to the electrical industry with more than 200 branches nationwide has signed up for space at the park. It is joined by LiverPrint, a specialist in workwear, uniform and branded merchandise.

These new lettings follow other units being taken earlier in the year by Screwfix and Costa. Following investment by Orbit, the business park is able to support a range of organisations. Accommodation includes warehousing to trade counters and eateries.

The creation of the trade counter units was part of its second phase of development on the site, which also included a 110,000 sq ft warehouse. Together Rexel and LiverPrint have taken more than 8,000 sq ft on 10-year leases.

Dennis Dwyer, divisional director for Orbit Developments, said: “The continued interest from national companies in the Academy Business Park is testament to not only what Orbit Developments has created but also the strength of the local economy.

“National chains and growing independent businesses see the site as part of the continued success of their companies due to the strength and demand from customers in the area.”

Academy Business Park is located in Knowsley, one mile north of the M57. It was crowned the winner of Commercial Development of the Year at the 2018 Knowsley Business Awards.
