Central Docks in Liverpool Waters will include retail and hospitality space

Peel Waters has appointed Graham + Sibbald (G+S) as the retained commercial agents for future retail and hospitality space at its Central Docks development in Liverpool Waters.

Contractor GRAHAM has already started work on £81.1m of infrastructure works at Central Docks which connects the already heavily developed Princes Dock with Everton FC’s Hill Dickinson Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Funding for the infrastructure works comprises £25.9m from Peel Waters and a further £55.2m from Homes England. This will lead to the delivery of 2,350 new homes, with a further 600 in the pipeline.

There will also be new public spaces, pedestrian and cycling routes, and the creation of a five-acre Central Park within the neighbourhood.

To support the growing residential community across Liverpool Waters and increased footfall generated by nearby commercial space, tourism and the new stadium, G+S will initially focus on bringing forward opportunities for a new convenience food store.

It will also be marketing a coffee shop/restaurant space in the centre of Central Park. Peel Waters is keen to work with local, independent brands to operate the café in the park.
