Pins will host a free NFT meet-up on Tuesday, May 31

Digital artists from Liverpool and as far afield as South Africa will converge on Pins Social Club in Liverpool on Tuesday, May 31, for a free NFT meet-up.

NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are unique pieces of digital work stored securely in a blockchain. The event, which takes place from 6pm will see a number of artists show their  most recent work including NFTs.

Neil Keating’s most recent recognisable work in the city can be seen in the city centre where he designed a huge 3D illustrated “Liverpool” sign and Sean Webster’s mural artwork can be viewed at the world renowned Strawberry Field in south Liverpool.

Liverpool-born Daniel Cally specialises in digital sports illustration. His work has been well received by LFC manager Jürgen Klopp and will be drawing live at the event and answering any questions.

And Richard Galbraith, a writer, storyteller, world builder and narrative designer with 15 years’ experience as a social media strategist for some of the biggest global brands including LEGO and Shell, will be speaking on the night.

Andrai Jones, from NFT Public Relations, the creator of the meet-up, said: “This is our third meet-up in Liverpool having hosted two previously at Ropes & Twines in the heart of the Ropewalks Area. We held May’s meet-up at Bold Street Coffee in Manchester and was overwhelmed by the turnout. The response was amazing.

“For this meet-up, we wanted to bring like-minded individuals together in an experiential environment and Pins Social Club was the perfect venue to do just that. We’re really excited to have Neil, Sean and Gnz-11 displaying their work and Dan illustrating.

“Giving local artists a platform to connect to others within the industry or those with a passion for art is key.”
