Popular Liverpool bakery opens second city outlet

Much-loved Liverpool bakery Artisane opened its original outlet in south Liverpool eight years ago and now it is opening up a second venue close to the city centre. Tony McDonough reports

Liverpool bakery Artisane moves into 54 St James St, HQ of The Women’s Organisation

 

Liverpool bakery Artisane has opened a second outlet at 54 St James Street, home of The Women’s Organisation.

Award-winning Artisane first set up shop in Woolton Road eight years ago and has proved a hit locally. Now it has opened at 54 St James Street, just outside the city centre, in the last few days.

Customers will find a selection of homemade hot and cold food, including sandwiches, cakes and toasties.

Open from Monday to Friday, 8am until 4pm, local residents and businesspeople can choose from items on the regular menu alongside weekly specials such as chutneys and bread.
