Property sales continue to look strong for 2016

Liverpool’s property auction house, Sutton Kersh, has announced instructions for their next auction are up by almost a fifth.

Their May auction will see 102 Lots offered for sale, a 19% increase compared to the same auction last year.

Cathy Holt, Associate Director of Sutton Kersh auctions said:

“It’s another big auction with some really varied opportunities coming to market, from plots of lands, some with a nil reserve to commercial investments, vacant residential properties and some really good development prospects.  We fully expect sales figures to be high again for the next auction, which is a good sign of the buoyancy of the property market in the Liverpool City Region.”

Sutton Kersh’s next auction will be held on the 26th May at the Crowne Plaza. The lots on sale will include:

·         Seven plots of land

·         Nine commercial investment opportunities

·         Five development opportunities

·         21 residential investment opportunities

·         60 vacant residential lots.

Amongst the lots on sale there are many unique properties that are worthy of mention such as the well known Banjo Pub, in Bootle and the Tabernacle United Reformed Church, in Holywell.

Also Lot 70, a three storey semi-detached property in Sefton Park which has received a lot of interest due to its potential. The property includes six separate flats with front and rear gardens, and comes at a guide price of £325,000.

A final property of note is lot number 88.
