Paul Crowley & Co solicitors has enjoyed a period of growth for its property department with two new staff appointments and an industry recognised accreditation.
The Liverpool-based firm, which has offices in the city centre, Anfield and West Derby, has appointed trainee legal executive Cheryl Clarke and trainee conveyancer Clare Miller to its property law team.
Specialising in residential conveyancing Cheryl and Clare will bring 12 years of experience to the department.
Cheryl is currently studying with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives to become a legal executive, while Clare is undertaking a Council for Licenced Conveyancers qualification to become a Licensed Conveyancer.
The appointments come at an exciting time for the department, which has been reaccredited with the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) for the fifth year running.
The CQS is the Law Society’s conveyancing quality mark and aims to bolster practice management standards and client care across residential conveyancing firms.
To gain this highly accredited CQS quality mark, firms must complete a rigorous auditing process every 12 months to ensure that standards are retained and it meets CQS protocol. This is followed by an assessment and mandatory training for key departments.
Managing partner, Tracy Thompson, says:
“Gaining the CQS accreditation for the fifth consecutive year is highly significant for the firm. It’s a marker of our continued professionalism, quality service and high level of client care, which are all central factors to our ethos as a firm.
“The CQS accreditation has helped us to meet key benchmarks and foster business growth, with new staff members, new clients and a new premises all being achieved in the last year. Moving forward, this CQS framework provide staff with a benchmark for success and will allow us to continue this line of growth.”
