Based in St Paul’s Square in the city centre, the firm has been awarded the Citywire Wealth Manager Regional Stars Award – one of the industry’s top accolades
Quilter Cheviot’s Liverpool-based wealth management team has been named the top wealth manager in the North.
Based in St Paul’s Square, the firm has been awarded the Citywire Wealth Manager Regional Stars Award, one of the industry’s top accolades.
The awards are calculated on the ratings financial planners give to discretionary firms based on the quality of their service and investment proposition across eight key regions.
Quilter’s Liverpool office manages assets on behalf of private clients, trusts and intermediaries.
The 25 strong team includes 12 qualified investment managers and handles £1.1bn of client funds under management.
Head of the Liverpool office Simon Walker said: “It is particularly rewarding because the nominations are driven by the views of our peers and partners in the financial advisory sector, with whom we work on a week in, week out basis.
“The award is not just a reflection of the high quality of our investment decision-making, but also of the quality of our relationships with independent financial advisers.”
The Liverpool team received its award at a ceremony at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel in London.
Quilter Cheviot focuses primarily on structuring and managing bespoke discretionary portfolios for private clients, charities, trusts, pension funds and intermediaries.
The company is one of the UK’s largest independently owned discretionary investment firms, tracing its heritage to back 1771 and now based in 13 locations across the UK, Jersey and Ireland with more than £20bn of assets under management.
