Liverpool recruitment firm McIver Scott Recruitment is celebrating its third year in business with another record year, with revenue up by 43%.

The award-winning city centre business uses psychometric testing in the form of personality profiling not only for candidates but also for its clients. It focuses on leadership traits and preferences of the hiring.

Managing director David Wafer said: “It has been a tremendous year and we are delighted that our hard work has paid off. We gained 91% of our business through referrals in the last year and that is testament to the different approach and service we offer our clients and candidates.

“The recruitment industry is not known to have high standards and we have focused on quality at every part of our process. Recruiting the right staff is crucial to the success of any business. If you don’t adopt a thorough process you are taking a gamble with your biggest asset.

“The market has changed massively in the last year and between now and 2030 the Liverpool city region will lose 36,000 workers due to ageing demographics. The biggest spike is between 2019 and 2024.

“So competition will be become fiercer and businesses have to do more to attract candidates. Our unique two way approach to personality and leadership psychometric profiling means this is a real game changer for both candidates and clients.”

McIver Scott specialise in executive search, legal, sales, housing and investment and David is also the vice-chair of the Institute of Directors and recently appointed to the Business and Policy Committee of the Liverpool & Sefton Chamber of Commerce.
