Scantec has been awarded 5-stars for placing clients in work in the rail sector.
The company has achieved a 5-star rating in the latest Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) audit. The audit looks at the processes in place around supplying workers in the rail sector. Scantec has received the maximum award every audit since being approved.
Scantec is one of the top technical and engineering recruitment agencies in the UK and were ranked 4th in the Top 10 Technical agencies by Recruitment International magazine in 2014.
RISQS is an independent, third party qualification assessment of a supplier’s capability to supply products and services, working with The Network Rail, LUL/Transport for London, passenger, light rail and freight train operators, rolling stock organisations, main infrastructure contractors and other rail products and services providers.
Paul Gibbens, client relationship director at Scantec, said:
“It’s a great result to achieve the maximum RISQS rating again. It’s an independent endorsement of Scantec expertise in the sector, really setting us apart from many of our competitors.”
Scantec celebrated 25 years in business last year and their single site operation is one of the largest in the UK. All the recruitment consultants are extensively trained and each hold official and recognised qualifications in recruitment practise. As an organisation, Scantec holds corporate membership with IOR and REC. These high standards are endorsed with ISO 9001:2008 Accreditation and Investors in People (IIP).
