Liverpool energy retrofit firm Ecogee appoints new operations director as it looks to push on with its next phase of growth with its most recent revenues totalling £17m. Tony McDonough reports
Liverpool energy retrofit firm Ecogee has appointed Gary Boon as its new operations director.
Gary joins Ecogee from Thermatic Homes, where he was managing director, bringing significant experience in operational leadership, business growth and people development.
In his new role, he will work alongside the existing leadership team to strengthen operational performance and support the next phase of Ecogee’s growth.
Established in 2012, Ecogee has grown into an established delivery partner for housing providers, local authorities, developers and homeowners. Now part of the Regenda Group, its most recent accounts show revenues of £17m and pre-tax profits totalling more than £1.1m.
During 2024/25, Ecogee improved more than 1,000 homes, installed more than 1,600 retrofit measures, achieved average customer satisfaction of 98% and built an active portfolio of retrofit delivery programmes worth more than £22m.
Most recently the business secured a place on the £75m to £100m Torus Retrofit Framework. The four-year framework will support the delivery of energy-efficiency improvements to thousands of homes across Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington.
