Small business loan and equity provider for SMEs, River Capital, has opened another permanent office in the North West.
Liverpool-based River Capital had already expanded into Manchester and has now launched a new base in Preston. Located at Cotton Court in Church Street, the office will enhance its capacity to “identify, support, and grow” promising enterprises.
Its Preston team will deliver its full range of funding options for SMEs from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II, North West Business Growth Loan Fund and North West Private Equity Fund.
These funding streams enable River Capital to provide crucial capital and support to businesses across various sectors and growth stages. River Capital also operates from a Cumbrian Hub that allows it to deploy the same funds across the county.
River Capital chief executive Mark Borzomato said: “Our new Preston office reflects our long-term commitment to the North West and our belief in the region’s enormous potential.
“By establishing a permanent presence in Lancashire, we can better serve local businesses and strengthen our relationships with the entrepreneurial community that makes this area a fantastic area to do business.”
