A popular tourist attraction offering spectacular tours at the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool has been shortlisted for a national award
Popular Liverpool visitor attraction RLB360 has been shortlisted for the Small Visitor Attraction of the Year at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2022.
Costing more than £1m to create, RLB360 offers tours of the world famous landmark’s clock tower with a digital projection show and spectacular 360-degree view across Liverpool city region. Since it opened in 2019 it has welcomed more than 50,000 people.
RLB360 will be up against stellar competition in the category, including Liverpool’s popular British Music Experience, but its organisers are hoping for yet more awards success at the ceremony on June 8.

Operations manager at RLB360 Chris Devaney said: “After retaining our Liverpool City Region Small Visitor Attraction of the Year crown in 2022, we are delighted to have been nominated for this VisitEngland Award.
“Competition has been extremely strong, with more than 300 eligible attractions competing for the highest accolade in English tourism so we really are honoured to be a part of the shortlist.”
At the attraction, people can explore the building, find out more about the history and architecture on display and go behind-the-scenes to learn about the Royal Liver Building clocks.
Visitors can also make their way up to the 15th floor, just like Batman did in the recent blockbuster Hollywood movie, while getting up close and personal with the enormous Liver Birds, affectionately named Bella and Bertie. The success of the Batman movie sent bookings soaring by 200%.
