Sefton Park Palm House is set to host its very own yoga mornings alongside Hridaya Yoga.
The popular grade II listed Victorian glasshouse will welcome the world-renowned yoga instructor, Niamh Kavanagh, every Thursday and will offer a morning filled with peace and serenity.
Between 9am-10am, those seeking ultimate relaxation will be able to take part in ‘heart and soul empowerment’, via the full body yoga experience.
Director of the Palm House Moira Leonard said:
“We are delighted to be hosting our very own yoga morning. As yoga is a popular choice amongst a varied demographic, the spiritual balancing and toning workout will certainly receive a great response from our frequent guests, and may also attract new visitors to come along.”
Throughout the yoga classes, participants will open up hip, spine and shoulder muscles through a series of dynamic stretches. This will be followed by a sequence of traditional static postures that stimulate the heart, lymph and spinal fluid to leave the body feeling refreshed and fully charged.
Moira added:
“We hope that the inaugural yoga class will be a huge success, as the classes are set to continue into the foreseeable future and will take place every Thursday morning. We are very much looking forward to enabling the calmness and harmony to flow through the crown jewel of Sefton Park.”
The yoga introductory morning at Sefton Park Palm House will commence on Thursday, July 17 between 9am-10am and will continue every Thursday. Classes are priced at £6 each or £20 for a block of 4. For more information visit http://hridayayoga.co.uk/palm-house-yoga-sefton-park/
