Signature Living Christmas party for children in care was a huge success

Signature Living Group, the Liverpool-based property developers, put on a magical Christmas event on Tuesday 16th December for Merseyside children living in care at the luxury 30 James Street Hotel.

The Christmas event catered up to 80 (4-14 year olds) across Merseyside who are currently living in care and may not be fortunate enough to experience a Christmas with their families.

The company, who have multiple sites across the city, put a smile on the children’s faces by providing complimentary food and drink, a special disco, a visit from the cast of Empire theatres Aladdin and Jack and the beanstalk, as well as Ian Snodin and Graham Stewart from Everton football club. Hollyoaks stars Stephanie Davis and Cameron Moore took a break from filming to surprise the children and join in the festivities.

Signature Living decided to organise the party because living in care is a subject close to director Katie Kenwright’s heart. She said it was great to see the party put a smile on so many of the children’s faces.

Katie Kenwright, co-founder of Signature Living said:

“All children deserve to celebrate Christmas and we wanted to play a small part in making sure that happens.

“Some of the children at 30 James Street today have had a really difficult year so we wanted to give them a really special afternoon.”
