Liverpool ONE says 2026 has seen its busiest ever summer with a record three-quarter-of-a-million visitors every week during the summer holidays.

Landsec-owned Liverpool ONE says it welcomed an average of 107,000 visitors each day throughout the summer months, with almost 6.5m people visiting since July 1 – an increase of 5% compared to last year.

Year-on-year sales among the retailers, restaurants and other attractions at the 1.65m sq ft complex went up 5.4% during the six-week summer holidays.

It welcomed a number of new brands to its line-up this year, including Lefties, Monica Vinader, Accessorize, Trailberg and Lovisa, and hosted events from Beach Fest at Chavasse Park ChessFest to Liverpool Pride and Tickle the Ivories Piano Festival.

Brendan Hattam, centre director at Liverpool ONE, said: “It’s been an absolutely incredible summer at Liverpool ONE, with more reasons to visit than ever before, from new store openings by big-name brands to a jam-packed schedule of events.

“Whether you’re part of the incredible community that we are proud to serve and be part of, visiting from abroad or simply popping over for a day trip, we’re proud to welcome you at Liverpool ONE.

“We will continue to build on this success, with exciting plans for Christmas and the years to come.”
