Tickets are now on sale for the new visitor attraction at Liverpool’s world-famous Royal Liver Building which is due to open to the public this spring and with a new team is brought in to run it.

Royal Liver Building 360 (RLB360) will offer guided public tours of the Grade I-listed building’s clock tower and 15th floor for the first time, unlocking “breathtaking” 360-degree views across the River Mersey and the Liverpool city region.

It will be operated by Heritage Great Britain and the new team is being headed up by Alexandra Bower, a former event planner at Tate Liverpool, and attractions manager Sharon Cooney, formerly of the Museum of Liverpool.

Tickets are now on sale for RLB360 as Heritage Great Britain unveils a new website and online booking system for Liverpool’s newest visitor experience. Bookings will initially be available from May 2019 onwards, with earlier dates being released once the official opening date is revealed.

A new visitor centre and gift shop is nearing completion in the lower ground floor where the building’s history will start to come to life. The tour will also give access to the 10th floor balcony where guests will get their first taste of the panoramic views on offer, before climbing to the clock room to see an immersive, audio-visual film experience projected onto the walls.

Chris Devaney, operations manager for RLB360, said: “With a new website, booking system and experienced team in place, we’re ready to bring a truly world-class visitor experience to the Royal Liver Building. We look forward to delivering a true ‘bucket list’ experience, both for people who live on Merseyside and visitors to the city.

“Each tour will take around 70 minutes and we’ve limited groups to 14 people per time slot to ensure everyone gets a great view and the chance to capture images to last a lifetime.”
